Christmas Eve

December 24, 2012

We spent the day watching Christmas movies and snuggling on the couch. We had dinner at grandmas and the boys got some gifts.

We talked about the true meaning of Christmas and read The Night Before Christmas. The boys put on their Christmas pajamas (Darth Vader pjs) and went to bed. I am so thankful that we are all together and that Aaron is doing so well. This is truly the best Christmas ever because Taevon is with us and Aaron is doing so well. I am cherishing every moment with my boys becuase I know everything can change in an instant. LOVE my boys!!

grandma's peppermint party

Thursday December 20, 2012

The boys have been so excited to go to grandmas peppermint party, This is one of Nick's favorite parties. They ate so much candy and ran around for the longest time.

Ned the Elf

This year Ned has been all over the house. The boys have had so much fun looking for him every morning. Here are some of our favorites...so far...

Weight check

December 19, 2012

Aaron had his appointent with Dr C this morning. His heart rate was good which is such a relief. He is not feeling well and I was so worried. He did lose 5 ounces over this last month but Dr C wasnt too worried. He wants to see hinm again Friday if he hasn't improved any.  Dr C said with Aaron's history he will either end up in the hospital or pull through this. I am praying that he is able to fight through this and avoid another hospital stay.

Gingerbread Houses

Friday December 7, 2012

We decorated our gingerbread houses tonight. This year we got one for each of the boys.

Christmas Lights

Saturday December 8, 2012

We took the boys and Ashley to see the lights at the zoo. They had such a good time. Aaron fell asleep beforewe even left the addition but Taevon had the best time. He laughed and squealed and enjoyed seeing all of the lights. Nicholas, Keagan and Ashely enjoyed the drive and the special stop at Starbucks. I made them special Christmas bags for the kids and they enjoyed all of the activities.

Aaron's test

Monday December 10, 2012

Aaron had his Gastric Emptying Study this morning. We had to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. The test was supposed to last for 4 hours. They gave him Pediasure with some radioactive agent mixed in so they could see the mixture move through his body. He had to drink 6 oz within 10 minutes. Aaron was unable to do that. He rarely drinks more than on ounce at one time. It takes him about an hour to drink 6-7 ounces and that is if we are right there coaxing him to drink. He drank less than 1/2 ounce so they sent us home. We are waiting for Dr M to decide what to do next. I dont want to put him through a surgery ans I am worried about him pulling out the tube but I really think it is what is best for him.
