Taevon had a huge seizure this morning. It lasted a little over 4.5 minutes. I had just got everyone into the car to take Nick to the bus stop and then Keagan to school. I finished buckling in Aaron when Taevon hit him in the head. I told Taevon "NO" and then he moaned. When I looked up I saw he was having a seizure. He was so stiff and looking up and to the left. Then his lips started to turn blue. I yelled and made Nick and Keagan go back into the house. I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance. Then he gasped for air and his lips turned pink. He did this a few more times before his breathing returned to normal. He bounced back after about an hour. He was very sleepy and sat in my lap all day. Luckily my mom was able to come and get Nick and Keag to school. Not again, and not Taevon too. I am emotionally exhausted. I called Neuro and Dr O increased his Keppra and wants to schedule a EEG. Hopefully we can find the right med combination for Taevon.
