Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day boys! Nicholas had a 2 hour delay this morning and he was so excited. His Valentine's Day Celebration was this afternoon and the kids had a great time. I love being a Room Mom! The kids played a game, listened to a story, made a valentine for someone special and had a special snack. I love seeing Nicholas interact with his friends.

the kids loved these!!

Nicholas loved his Valentine's gift this morning.

Keagan loved his present and has played with it all day!

Aaron is too funny. He has found his feet and loves to have his toes kissed. He grabs his feet then puts them up in the air to be kissed. He loves the music from his new toy!!

smiles after toe kisses!

I love these boys!!

Trucks

Aaron is doing great. He is learning how to play with toys appropriately. He looks so cute playing with his trucks. I wish the Drs in Seattle could see him now. He is doing so much more than they thought he would ever be able to do. I knew how much potential he had the first time I looked into his eyes. He is one amazing little boy!

We are counting down the days until we tell the boys about Disney World!!

Disney World

We are so excited to tell the boys about Disney World. We have everything booked and all of the reservations made. The kids are going to see lots of characters at all of the character meals we booked. They are going to be so excited. We have decided to tell them the day before we leave. I have made little bags for them with all kinds of Disney things. We have Buzz Lightyear backpacks for them. I have them packed with all kinds of activities for the flight. I can't wait to see their faces when we tell them! It is going to be so much fun.

High Fives and Mid-term Behavior Assessments

Nicholas is so cute. He received a High Five trophy today in Huskey Huddle. He was so excited.

Nicholas brought home his mid-term behavior asessment. He did really well. The only things that he needs to work on are tying his shoes and sitting still for 25 minutes to listen to a story. I am not expecting any miracles with these two isssues : -)
Nicholas says it is no big deal that he can't tie his shoes because he has friends that don't mind tying them for him. He is too funny. On the issue of being quiet for 25 minutes..good luck. He has never been quiet for more than a few minutes. When he is read to he asks a million questions about the story and all of the pictures. I am sure we will still be working on these issues when school is over! He loves school and whips through his homework in just a few minutes. He is reading everything now and loves to write me notes. Love him!

He does comnplain about being bored in school durng the morning. I guess this is when they review what they learned the day before. He says all of the things they are working on he has already learned. (mostly true) They are working on addition right now and he loves math. He has been adding since he was about 3 years old, and subtracting since he was 4 1/2. Nicholas has even begun to multiply over the last few months. I am so glad that he loves school. I still can't believe that he is in school. Time is going way to fast.

Grandma's Valentine's Day Party

The boys had their Valentine's Day party at grandma and grandpas. They love to see the decorated cupcakes that grandpa makes and the surprises from grandma.

They each have their own mailbox over there that they enjoy checking each time they visit. Today they had cute little bags filled with a clapper, a heart container and candy hearts. They also got a Spiderman tin which Keagan was super excited to fill with toys.

They enjoyed eating dinner and especially their cupcakes.

The boys also got to do a Valentine's Day craft. They had so much fun! Keagan loved the glitter and Nicholas loved the foam conversation hearts. Aaron was in a great mood and wanted lots of songs!

Nicholas wasn't feeling very well and he went to bed as soon as he got home. Poor baby went right to sleep. Keagan on the other hand was super hyper when we got home and he ran around the house and talked nonstop for the longest time! Love my boys!! We are looking forward to our Disney trip and can't wait to tell the boys (the night before).
