New Years Eve

Tuesday December 31, 2013

The boys were very excited for our New Years Eve party. I had bags containing activities and treats for the kids to open every hour.

Our first activity was to play Ninja turtle Trouble. We had a great time. It was the longest game ever. we kept sending one another back home. Nicholas finally won and chose our next game. We played Disney's Eye Found It.

Next was a bag containing a card for Disney Infinity time!! They also each got to open a pack of infinity power packs. we got Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey's car and Wreck it Ralph which we already have. They had so much fun. It was so funny to watch them jump around and changing characters and backgrounds.

Our next bag was a note to watch Rudolphs Shiny New Year. We also had some hot chocolate and Rudolph cookies. I loved snuggling with the boys watching a movie.

Our final bag was telling them to get on their hats ...3...2...1...Happy New Year!!

Weight check

Tuesday December 31, 2013

Aaron went to the dr this morning for his weight check. He is still gaining lots of weight. He gained over 2 pounds this last month. He weighs 63 pounds. He has almost completely doubled his weight in the last 6 months. Dr C has been decreasing his calories but he is still gaining. He decreased it again and he has to get labs done first so we can check the amount of his free water with his Endocrinologist. Other than his excessive weight gain he is doing fantastic. He is using more of his words and even learned to say "HI". He is still interacting with all of us and even trying out new toys. He has been in the best mood and full of hugs and kisses. I love seeing his smile!! Enjoying every second and not taking a moment for granted with this little super hero!!

Lego day

December 26, 2013

The boys and I had a Lego day. They got tons of Lego and a Lego table for Christmas. We spent the day making all of their sets. Nicholas is so fast at putting together his Lego. Keagan put his Lego together himself!! He looks so cute studying the instructions and carefully following the directions. I am so proud of him!! It was such a fun day! I treasure every moment I get to spend with my little boys. Everything can change in an instant. I can't believe how fast time is going. they are getting so big and more independent everyday. I am so proud of the little men they are becoming.

Aaron and Taevon loved their new toys. Taevon loves his new monkey and guitar and Aaron has been playing with more and more toys everyday. He has a few favorites so it is great to see him exploring new toys.

Christmas

December 25, 2013

Merry Christmas!

Nick and Keagan slept in this morning. They didn't get up until after 8am. They NEVER sleep that late. Aaron and Taevon were up before 5am. Once they were up they were going nonstop. They liked all of their presents. It was a very relaxing day and we stayed home all day. It was so nice not rushing around from house to house. The boys enjoyed the day at home.

Later that night they found a letter form Ned (our Elf) and they raced around the house to find their gifts. Ned always brings them a gift Christmas night before he leaves for the year. This year he brought a Lego table with Lego and Disney Infinity and some characters. He also brought a ball cube for Tae and Aaron. They were very excited to find the gifts from Ned.

It was a great day. I am so thankful for so many things this year.

Christmas Eve

December 24, 2013

The boys were so excited all day today. They opened resents from each other and from us. We had dinner with grandpa and grandma. It took them a long time to calm down for bed. They put out cookies and read "The Night Before Christmas". We talked about the true meaning of Christmas and they finally were able to go to bed. It took them a long time to fall asleep. It seemed like forever before I was able to get all of the gifts wrapped and under the tree. I am so excited to see their faces in the morning.

Ned will make his final appearance in the morning. He will be missed.

My archaeologist

Saturday December 21, 2013

Nick LOVES anything to do with learning. He would rather read a book or do a science project than go outside and play. He is so smart. He remembers everything he hears and reads. He got a Pyramid for Christmas from Grandma and Papa and it was one of his favorite gifts. He couldn't wait to open it and start digging. He finally got to do it the next night and he spent all evening patiently digging out his artifacts.

borax snowflakes

I LOVE Christmas vacation. Today the boys and I made Borax ornaments. I think their favorite part was playing with the pipe cleaners. They made things ALL day long with the leftover ones. They had so much fun watching the crystals appear. It took a couple of hours for them to notice anything and by morning they were done.

Frosty

Thursday December 19, 2013

The boys are finally in Christmas vacation!!!!!  I am so excited to have all of the boys home all day. Tonight we had our Frosty the Snowman night. I made melted snowman snack and we watched Frosty and then Frosty Returns. I LOVED snuggling with the boys tonight.

zuma

2 hour delays, dr appts and therapy = another mommy and Keagan day!!

I have done nothing for the past two days except cuddle with Keagan and play Zuma. He LOVES this game and he is VERY good. We have played non stop the past 2 days. It doesn't get any better than this. I LOVE being able to spend all of this quality time with him. I have enjoyed all of the extra hugs and kisses. I cant imagine not getting bunches of these everyday. Every time I hear them call "mommy" my heart melts. I am the luckiest person ever! I could NEVER ask for anything else. I have it all!!!
