Holiday fest

We went downtown tonight to see all of the lights and the fireworks at the stadium. We went to the Botanical Gardens first. On our way to pet the reindeer they found their cousin. She squealed and the boys screamed and they all hugged. They just love her and it was so cute to see them tonight.  She walked with us for a little while and we saw some lights and they all got to pet the reindeer. They were sad when we had to leave but I am so glad they got to see each other. We saw the wreath and Santa and his reindeer displays. We stayed for the fireworks show and it was well worth the wait and the cold weather. The boys had a great time! I love all of the memories we are making.

We are enjoying the holiday weekend. Got out to the sales last night and got some good deals!! Tonight we surprised the boys and took them to see the Fantasy of Lights. They had a great time and noticed some new light displays. Keagan's favorite was the Grinch and Nicholas couldn't choose just one. Taevon enjoyed all of the lights and Aaron loved the Christmas music on the radio. It was so fun! Then we came home and the boys found their note to watch some Christmas movies with us tonight and they were so excited. we watched Hoops and YoYo and The Elf on the Shelf. They are looking forward to finding Ned in the morning.

We turned on our Christmas lights tonight!. The boys have been patiently waiting for this. They loved seeing the tree all lit up tonight.

Ned is back

Ned the elf is back!! The boys were beyond excited when they learned that Ned at returned this year. He left them some gifts to start off the holiday season. We had so much fun at our family game night. We played all the games they got tonight. We started with Toss across, then Eye Found it (a Disney I spy game), followed by Yahtzee (Nick's favorite) and ended the night with Ninja Turtle Trouble (Keagan's favorite).  The boys are very excited to find Ned in the morning!

 

I can't wait to see their faces in the morning!

I have so many things to be thankful for this year. I am so thankful for my wonderful hubby and being a mom to 4 precious little boys. I am so grateful to be able to stay at home with my boys knowing that their future has been well planned in advance. I have learned so many things this year. I do not take one second that I get to spend with my family for granted. I know how fast things can change. We had a great day today. We ate lunch with grandma and grandpa and the boys got to play with their cousin. We took lots of pictures which is always a funny ordeal. I am so thankful for the family God gave me. I wouldn't change a thing.

Thankful

We did a Thankful tree for Thanksgiving this year. It was really nice to hear what the boys were thankful for each day. My favorite was Keagan when he said he was "thankful for hair so I not bald" too cute. It melted my heart when the boys said they were thankful for their mommy. I love them!!

Yay!! The boys are on Thanksgiving break!! I have so many fun things planned for the next few days. Tonight we surprised the boys with a fun night. They thought they were on their way to bed when they found the note. They rushed back downstairs to find their Christmas blankets waiting for them on the couch. I had made my "mommy's special snack" and hot chocolate and we snuggled and watched Rudolph. They kept saying how much fun they were having. I love family fun nights. I am looking forward to watching all of the Christmas movies with the boys this year.

Tae's stander

Tae finally got his stander today. His Physical therapists both came today and worked with him in his stander. He LOVED standing. He smiled and laughed the entire time. His PT wanted him to work up to an hour a day but he stayed in it for 1 hour and 45 minutes. He cried when I took him out. He rolled over to it and held onto it crying. It was so sad but I didn't want him to get sore and not be able to be in it tomorrow. She also wants to get Aaron up in the stander in the near future. I am so thankful for my incredible therapists. They are so sweet and my boys just love them.

We put up our Christmas tree today. The boys had fun hanging all the ornaments. I LOVED seeing their faces as they looked through them. They each had their favorites and it was fun watching them pick the perfect spot for each one.

 

 

I love this time of year. I can't wait for the boy's Christmas vacation. I have so many fun things planned this year.

We went to the tree lighting tonight. The boys loved it! They played one of Nick's favorite songs and he was so excited. The boys danced and sang and had so much fun. I am looking forward to all of the fun holiday activities for the kids this year.

Aaron saw Dr O this morning. He was in such a good mood. Dr O couldn't believe how alert he was today. He wanted to talk about maybe trying to take him off one of seizure meds since he is on 5 different ones. I almost cried. He is doing so well and I don't want to take a chance. It took us so long to get them somewhat under control. Luckily I have great Drs that value my input. We talked about it and I expressed my concerns and we are not going to change anything. I am so thankful for my group of drs. I know so many other families that have to go to Indy or Ohio to get good care. I couldn't ask for a better team of Drs to take care of Aaron.
